Monica is a dedicated mental health counselor with a limited permit, helping children, adolescents, and millennials master their emotions. With a trauma-informed perspective, she integrates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment Theory, and Narrative Therapy. Monica is passionate about empowering clients to discover inner strength and confront fears with empathy. Her holistic approach to mental health care is evident in her commitment to client growth and well-being.
Beyond her practice, Monica advocates for self-care as integral to well-being. She finds joy in her faith, quality time with family and friends, leisurely walks, and road trips. These personal experiences enrich her understanding and connection with clients, creating a compassionate and supportive therapeutic environment.
Diana is dedicated to creating a strong relationship with clients to create a safe space to work through difficulties with dignity and respect. With a background in adolescent education and mental health counseling, Diana has experience working with children, adolescents and adults to support their journey to well being. She specialize in working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, addiction, interpersonal conflicts and life transitions. Her goal is to help clients identify and overcome obstacles that can negatively impact life by developing positive coping skills for life’s stressors. Working with a focus on the whole person, Diana supports a client’s journey to self discovery and growth. Diana is a mom of 3 with a passion for photography and uses creative outlets to balance life. Diana also runs our Skill Building group for parents with children struggling with outbursts, meltdowns, ADHD, and anxiety symptoms.
Maureen has a strong passion for helping adults and adolescents heal from stuck emotions, past trauma, and ongoing negative thought patterns/beliefs that may have negatively influenced everyday life. Maureen specializes in trauma and uses an integrated approach that consists of healing the separate parts of self, locating and feeling emotions in your body in order to identify and link triggers, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) to process, feel, and move stuck emotions and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to work through changing unhealthy thought patterns and behaviors. Maureen also uses various mindfulness strategies to become more aware of thoughts, patterns and feelings in order to bring them to the surface and begin your inner work. Maureen will help you to become aware of control patterns and irrational thoughts that interfere with normal life. She will support you when expressing your feelings in a safe space while helping you practice self compassion and self care. Additionally, Maureen will help you to set boundaries confidently without worrying about the judgements of others. Maureen has experience helping those who struggle with anxiety disorders, depression/mood disorders, OCD, PTSD/C-PTSD, dissociation, addictions and panic disorders. Healing can be a beautiful process and Maureen looks forward to taking that journey with you!
Christina has specialized in individual and family therapy serving both adolescents and adults in private practice for over 10 years. She has extensive experience treating generalized anxiety, OCD, ADHD, relationship issues, depression and other mood disorders. She is extremely passionate about helping people build a strong sense of self; focusing on improving self-esteem, self-care, and guiding her patients on a journey of self-love and empowerment. Christina encourages her patients to explore their triggers, thoughts, and behaviors through a Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) approach. She also uses Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT) skill building and Mindfulness practices to enhance patients independence outside of therapy sessions. She is the owner and director of Christina's Couch Counseling Center since 2019.
